Ken Robinson says schools kill creativity | Video on TED.com

This is a wonderful talk by Ken Robinson about the value of creativity and education which i wish the policy makers will make time to seriously view and consider. (wishful thinking i know!)
There's pleanty of lovely one liners that gets you thinking about the true value of education where creativity is never given its rightful place under the sun.

“All kids have special talents and we squander them pretty ruthlessly.”
“Creativity now is as important in education as literacy”
“Kids will take a chance. if they don’t know they’ll have a go. They’re not frightened of being wrong. ... If you are not prepared to be wrong you’ll never come up with anything original”
We are educating people out of their creative capacities”
“All children are born artist. The problem is to remain artists as we grow up”
“We don’t grow into creativity. We grow out of it.”
